Carbon Offset FAQ
Why is offsetting Carbon important?
Too much carbon in our atmosphere contributes to the warming of our planet. By offsetting the carbon emitted by your Grubhub order, you’re helping contribute to keeping the addition of this gas to our air low!
How is my carbon footprint calculated?
Your carbon footprint is calculated based on the average miles per gallon of Grubhub vehicles when clocked in, delivery orders. Using the gallons of gas used according to the average, we multiply it by the average amount of CO2 emitted per gallon of gasoline. Lastly, this is multiplied by the amount of dollars it takes to offset the amount of gas.
